really, really, really don't want to do this anymore...
*sigh*
Anyways, I haven't started yet, even though I should have, but, y'know, need to get food at its freshest, couldn't go shopping, yea.
I'm going to remove fish from my experiment, simply because I don't want to spend 5 hours collecting data everyday, and 10 is a nice round number and I'm a little OCD about that sort of stuff. And now there are two types of material from each category so it's all even.
So I shall start today, will have to go shopping and go to the freshest local market I can find, not woolies. You would think it wouldn't matter when I get the produce, but it does. If the materials have already started to decay, then it throws off my results because different materials decay at different rates. And because local grocers mean fresher food, my results should be as reliable as they can be.
Also, instead of petri dishes and plastic containers, I'm using plastic plates, because a) they're much, much cheaper b) they're bigger and c) they're white, so I get a plain background to take photographs.
Uggh, this is going to be very tedious isn't it? I'll have to be very dilligent about collecting data because I have to do it so often. And then there's the discussion and everything... *sigh*....
